Faith isn’t proof…its Conviction!
Faith gets misunderstood. We think faith is optimism. Some Positive thinking. Maybe Blind hope.
But faith…real faith…is conviction without evidence.
Hebrews 11:1 says it like this:
Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.
That means faith isn’t waiting until you see it. Faith is moving before you see it.
The dictionary defines faith as a strong belief based on spiritual conviction rather than proof.
That stopped me in my tracks.
Because when I pray, faith means I believe God heard me…before anything changes.
I walk differently.
I talk differently.
I release the need to control timing.
Faith says:
It’s not here yet… but it’s coming.
And conviction is what carries faith when evidence hasn’t arrived yet.
So if faith is conviction, here’s the uncomfortable mirror:
What am I truly convinced of?
Do my actions match my prayers?
Faithfulness begins when belief turns into behavior…..
