A Better Me Is An Act of Worship

I used to think becoming “better” was about performance.

Now I know it’s about stewardship. At this stage of my life, I’m choosing to be faithful to myself, not for applause, but to align myself with my creator, my God.

Because when I give myself a better me:

  • I show up cleaner.

  • I love deeper.

  • I serve healthier.

  • I trust God faster.

Worship is not only singing songs and lifting our hands. Worship is also about honoring what God has given me. God gave me, me, before anyone else came along.

And here’s the closing truth:

I owe the people connected to me a better me, but I owe me one first.

Faithfulness to self is not the end goal. It never was. It’s the doorway. A better me becomes a better vessel. And a better vessel can be used more fully by God.

So this week, ask yourself:

How am I doing with you? What can I do better for you?

If the answer is “I can do better”, then don’t shame yourself. Do better.

Just start!! Whatever it is, just start.

Because love really does endure all… especially when it starts from within.
